When your file is ready with all the columns filled, you import it on the platform. To do this, click on the Import CSV section.

NB: The file must be in CSV format (not .xls) because only this format is supported by the platform.
To make it simple, export the file directly from the platform to start from the right base. All you have to do is fill in the columns with the necessary information.
Once on the import page, you can either drop the file on the dedicated space or click on it to open a browser window and select your file on your computer.
Then launch the import of the file. There are two possible scenarios:
there is no error in the file and in this case, a confirmation window appears specifying the number of updated, added or deleted user profiles. This will allow you to make an initial check and confirm the update. By pressing the button, the file will overwrite the previous user file (if there was one) and the users will be updated on your platform.
Then when you confirm the update :
In case of an error in the file, a message will appear indicating all the errors found and the lines where they are present. You just have to go back to your CSV file and make the necessary corrections. The file will not be imported. Once the corrections have been made, import your file again.
You just have to follow the instructions on this window to make the modifications on your file and import it again.
Some examples of error messages:
The email manager must be valid and refer to a user': the email that you have indicated on the line of one or more persons as being his manager is not attached to any user. It is mandatory that this email is attached to a user in order to build the hierarchical pyramid. Obviously, if it is your CEO, you must leave the box empty because he does not have a manager.
Segments must coincide with those defined in the application' or 'Role must coincide with those defined in the application': You must check the spelling of this segment or role so that it is written exactly the same way as in your segmentation or in the defined roles (plural or singular, upper or lower case, with spaces or dashes in the same place,...).
A hierarchical loop has been detected': You have indicated a person as his own manager, which is impossible. Leave the box blank if you do not wish to indicate a manager.

NB: the file cannot be partially imported. It will only be imported once you have confirmed the update.
NB2: when the file is updated, a welcome email is automatically sent to new registered users. This welcome email contains the login and password to connect to the platform. This mail is standard and is sent directly from the platform.
When the import has been completed, the welcome email with the login and the password email are sent directly from the platform to your users. This will allow them to connect to the platform if they wish, but they will only have access to the survey on the day it opens. They will receive another email on the day the survey is launched, inviting them to answer it.
